Educational Scholarships
Thank you for your interest in scholarships at the Hamilton Community Foundation. We are no longer accepting applications for scholarships for high school seniors graduating in 2010.
2010 Timeline for High School Senior Scholarships
| February 5, 2010 |
Completed scholarship applications must be received in the Hamilton Community Foundation office by 4:00 p.m. |
| March 11, 2010 |
College Cost Estimator Workshop held at the Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton – 7 pm. This is open to all families who completed the form to assist the Foundation with determining need. Families will receive a customized report explaining the findings and will have opportunity to asked questions regarding financial aid. |

Selection Committee meets and selects recipients |
May |
Scholarship recipients notified of committees’ decisions. Recipients will receive congratulatory letter with instructions and forms to complete and return to the Hamilton Community Foundation office. |
May 19, 2010 |
All recipients and their family attend the Scholarship Program/Reception at Parrish Auditorium, Miami University, Hamilton – 5 pm. Reception immediately follows at Harry T. Wilks Conference Center. Dressy attire. Recipients will have opportunity to meet and thank their scholarship donor and or family. |
July |
Scholarship recipients submit Scholarship Acceptance and Agreement along with verification of school form to the Foundation office. |
August |
Recipients pick up their scholarship checks, payable to the school, the first two weeks in August at the Hamilton Community Foundation office. If you do not pick up your check or call the Foundation, you may forfeit your scholarship. |
