Bill BoehmWilliam J. Boehm, chairman, Connector Manufacturing Company, established this fund to support the children of Connector employees in their pursuit of obtaining a college education. Scholarships are awarded to applicants who meet the award criteria of academic achievement, citizenship, leadership qualities, extracurricular activities and employment records.

 

Eligibility:

Student must have a maintained a high school 3.0GPA, and a parent currently employed at Connector Manufacturing Co. This scholarship is not based on financial need.

Award: $3,000 per year for four years, if 3.0 GPA is maintained in college.

Scholarship Program Timeline

January Scholarship applications are available
January – end of Feb: Complete and mail scholarship application along with all support materials to Hamilton Community Foundation.
February 22, 2008 . Last day applications are accepted
Mid April: Scholarship Committee meets and selects recipients
Early May: Applicants notified, by mail, about Committee’s decisions.
May 21, 2008
5 pm
Scholarship Reception at Parrish Auditorium at Miami University Hamilton. All recipients are required to attend
Late May - Mid July Final materials received from all recipients.
August 4-8, 2008 Checks are available to be picked up at Foundation office
