About Youth Philanthropy Committee Grants

Each year, the Youth Philanthropy Committee is responsible for making grants to non-profit organizations serving the youth in our community.

In 2009, the Youth Philanthropy Committee awarded more than $35,000 in grants to area nonprofit organizations serving our youth. We are pleased to assist these organizations in their efforts to provide opportunities and make an impact the lives of the area young people.

And many other organizations making a difference in the lives of our youth!

The Youth Philanthropic Committee of the Hamilton Foundation provided a grant for Sojourner Recovery Services to purchase playground equipment. On June 17, 2009 there was a dedication for the new playground.
