Create a Scholarship Fund to Empower Students

Give the Gift of Education

Creating a scholarship fund through the Hamilton Community Foundation is a meaningful way to invest in the future of our community. By supporting students in their educational pursuits, you can create a lasting legacy that reflects your values and commitment to education.

Benefits of Creating a Scholarship Fund

  • Create a Legacy – A named scholarship can continue giving back to the community forever.
  • Ease of Participation – Our staff handles the details, allowing you to decide how involved you’d like to be in the selection process.
  • Secure Online Access – View your balance and see the impact your scholarship is making.

How it Works

  1. Set Up Your Scholarship – Decide who you want to support and what criteria should be considered. Work with Foundation staff to establish your scholarship.
  2. Selection Process – Each year, you can choose to participate in the selection process and help review applicants.
  3. Award Ceremony – Donors are invited to meet their scholarship recipients at our annual Scholarship Reception and Award Program.
  4. Receive Updates – For multi-year scholarships, donors receive updates when their students renew their awards each year.
