Butler County Grant Link: Opening New Doors for Nonprofits

Every nonprofit leader knows the challenge: the work is urgent, the community’s needs are growing, and yet funding opportunities can be difficult to access. Too often, smaller organizations especially spend countless hours searching for grants and trying to piece together applications, only to find the process overwhelming.

That’s where Butler County Grant Link comes in.

This countywide initiative, led by Butler County United Way, the City of Hamilton, the Hamilton Community Foundation, and the Middletown Community Foundation, was created with one purpose: to make it easier for nonprofits to bring more resources into Butler County.

Meet the Community Grant Finder
At the helm of Grant Link is Trisha Porter, who will serve as the Community Grant Finder and a hands-on guide for nonprofits throughout the process. Trisha brings years of experience and a track record of securing more than $2 million in funding for nonprofit organizations. Her expertise will ensure that local groups not only find the right opportunities but also submit stronger, more competitive applications.

What Grant Link offers
Instead of working alone, nonprofits will gain access to external funding sources that might otherwise be out of reach. They’ll also have practical tools and training to sharpen their grant writing, along with opportunities to collaborate across sectors by connecting with other non-profits and community partners. Most importantly, they’ll have expertise and guidance every step of the way.

The result is straightforward: more grant dollars coming into Butler County, more local programs reaching neighbors, and a stronger, more connected nonprofit community.

Why it Matters
Every grant dollar that comes into Butler County is more than just funding. It’s meals served, after-school programs launched, neighborhoods strengthened, and lives changed. Yet too often, those dollars bypass our community simply because local organizations don’t have the same resources or grant-writing capacity as larger nonprofits elsewhere.

Grant Link will change that. By giving Butler County nonprofits the tools and guidance they need, we’re leveling the playing field and ensuring that funding opportunities reach the people and programs right here at home.
