Foundation awards more than $850,000 in grants

Jul 15, 2022

The Hamilton Community Foundation awarded $863,000 in grants at its June board meeting.  The board meets five times per year to award grants to meet the needs of the community. The strategic focus areas for all awards include health, education, community revitalization and quality of life.

“We are building a better community by making gifts to the organizations having the biggest impact on revitalization efforts in and around Hamilton,” said John Guidugli, President and CEO, Hamilton Community Foundation. “Thanks to our donors, volunteers and staff, we are leading the change to improve our community,” he added.

With the support of individual donors who establish unrestricted funds, the board of trustees review grant requests and award funds to meet community needs.  The board will review requests again in October and December.
