Leadership Hamilton Class of 2025 Makes a “Pawsitive” Impact

At the Hamilton Community Foundation, we’re always inspired by the power of community leadership—and the 2025 Leadership Hamilton class just gave us another reason to celebrate.
This year’s class included our very own Tracy Eads, Community Investment Officer at the Foundation. Together with her classmates, Tracy helped lead a meaningful class project that raised awareness and funding for a cause close to the heart of many families in our community: therapy dogs in schools.
Their chosen project supported the Hamilton City Schools Pawsitive Connections Fund, a charitable fund housed at the Foundation that fuels the district’s therapy dog program. These four-legged companions are much more than cute faces in the hallway—they provide emotional support, reduce student anxiety, promote connection, and help create a safe and welcoming learning environment.
And the class didn’t stop at raising money. They set their sights on something bigger.
The ultimate goal? To place a therapy dog in every single school building across the Hamilton City School District.
That’s a vision that will have a long-lasting impact on thousands of students, teachers, and families for years to come.
The Pawsitive Connections Fund is designed to grow with the program, with disbursements made in partnership with Hamilton City Schools to ensure every dollar supports the right needs at the right time.
We are so proud of Tracy and the entire Leadership Hamilton Class of 2025 for showing us what it looks like when leadership and compassion come together for a greater good!
