FAFSA Days held at area high schools
The Hamilton Community Foundation is proud to continue to support FAFSA Days at our area high schools. Each year hundreds of students and families are assisted with completing their FAFSA in preparation for education beyond high school. As a result, thousands of dollars are identified to assist with education costs.
For several years, Dave Murray, Murray and Associates has been awarded a grant to conduct FAFSA Days at our area schools. The service not only included helping with completing the FAFSA but also served as an ongoing resource to our families as they navigate higher education systems. This year, Murray and Associates transitioned many clients to Heavin College and Career Services https://www.heavinccr.com. Owner, Karen Heavin worked with Mr. Murray these past years and upon Mr. Murray's retirement she aquired much of his business clients.
We are pleased to continue our work with Ms. Heavin as she provides this valuable service to our families. The schedule for this year is as follows: New Miami High School - Thursday, October 10th Noon-6:00 pm Ross High School - Tuesday, October 22nd 2:00-6:00 pm; Hamilton High School - Thursday, November 7th 8:00 am-7:00 pm.
