Foundation Awarded Grant to StreetSpark

December 8, 2017

At the December 7th Board of Trustee meeting, the StreetPark Mural Project was awarded $25,000 and was just one organization to receive funding from the Foundation.  Through a partnership between the City of Hamilton and the Fitton Center for Creative Arts, StreetSpark is a program founded to further the arts identity in the city through exciting murals and public arts projects.  The program creates art engagement by producing high quality art, providing opportunities for local artists and enhancing the visual appeal of the city.

"This is one project that aligns with the Foundation's strategic goals of enhancing community quality of life and we are pleased to support their efforts, said John Guidugli, President & CEO.

To date this year, the Foundation board has awarded nearly $1 million from the unrestricted funds benefiting the greater Hamilton community.
