A Warm Welcome to Our Communications Manager, Meghan Hartman!
We’re excited to share that the Foundation team is growing! Please join us in welcoming Meghan Hartman as our new Communications Manager.
In this role, Meghan leads our efforts to tell the Foundation’s story by managing everything from digital content and printed materials to social media, media relations, and key events. She’ll also work closely with our affiliates in Fairfield and Ross to help unify and strengthen our voice across the region.
Originally from Liberty, Indiana, Meghan is a proud Ball State graduate with nearly a decade of experience in marketing and communications. She brings a deep love for storytelling, a sharp creative eye, and an enthusiasm for building community connections. Outside of work, you’ll likely find her at a concert, on a run, chasing after her daughter, or curled up with a good book.
We recently sat down with Meghan to learn more about what drew her to this role, and what she’s most looking forward to.
What made you interested in joining the Foundation?
I was drawn to the Communications Manager role because of both personal connection and professional passion. As a former recipient of a community foundation scholarship, I know how life-changing these organizations can be. When I saw the Hamilton Community Foundation’s impact, I felt an instant connection.
What are you most excited to bring to this role?
I’m excited to help amplify the Foundation’s impact through stories that resonate. Whether it’s highlighting a scholarship recipient, shining a light on a local nonprofit, or helping the community understand the difference philanthropy makes—I want to help people feel more connected to the mission. I see this as a role that can inspire action, not just awareness.
