Preserving History & Honoring Service

Michael J. Colligan Fund Grants

The Michael J. Colligan Fund stands as a lasting tribute to patriotism, service, and community pride, honoring the sacrifices of our nation’s veterans. Michael J. Colligan, a proud Hamilton native and U.S. Army veteran (1945–1946), dedicated his life to service, both in the military and as a respected funeral director in his hometown of Hamilton. The Michael J. Colligan Fund was established to preserve his legacy and values.

Today, the fund serves as a meaningful community resource, supporting efforts to recognize and honor veterans while promoting civic pride and patriotism.

Funding Priorities

The Michael J. Colligan Fund prioritizes financial assistance for bands participating in Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and Fourth of July parades. Additionally, it supports speakers on military and historical subjects and helps preserve historical veteran memorabilia in terms of housing.
