How to Recognize Your Grant from the Hamilton Community Foundation

Grant Recognition Guidelines

Grants from the Hamilton Community Foundation (HCF), and our affiliate Foundations in Ross and Fairfield, are made possible by generous donors. Public recognition of Unrestricted Fund grants, and thereby all Unrestricted Fund donors, helps encourage future contributions to this permanent community resource.

The Foundation publicly recognizes grants through social media, on our website, and in publications including our annual report. We encourage all grant recipients to publicly recognize grants as well.

Grant Recipient Recognition Responsibilities

  • Invite the foundation to view or gauge the impact of your completed grant program or project
  • Send a 250-300 word story and photo about your grant’s impact to the foundation
  • Share press releases or media coverage of your grant’s impact with the foundation
  • Acknowledge the grant in your organization’s communications using our logo and acknowledgment language where appropriate
  • Please direct all correspondence to Tracy Eads at the Community Foundation

Acknowledging Your Grant

Please use the following language to acknowledge your grant: “This project was funded [or funded in part] by a grant from the  [Hamilton, Ross, or Fairfield] Community Foundation, made possible by generous donors.” Use "HCF", "RCF", or "FCF" on second reference.
