At the foundation, I support individuals and families who are giving back to their communities. That can look like advising on charitable giving strategies to help make every dollar go further, or walking alongside donors as they explore the causes and issues they care most about. I also pitch in where needed to keep things moving forward—which sometimes includes a bit of “other duties as assigned.”
Before joining the foundation, I worked with the City of Hamilton and served as the city’s liaison to the foundation through the TAP Scholarship Program for more than five years. I’d seen firsthand the impact the foundation makes in our community—and even submitted (unsuccessfully!) for a grant myself. In 2023, I took a leap of faith into a new field, with no formal background in “development,” and haven’t looked back since.
When time allows, I love to travel. I also enjoy video games, experimenting in the kitchen, and learning how to be a better gardener—all of which I do in the spirit of sharing with friends and neighbors. Most recently, I’ve become pretty obsessed with house and office plants. It might be getting out of hand.
