More than $1 million in Scholarships awarded to high school graduates

May 14, 2020

This year nearly 200 high school seniors were selected as recipients of more than $1 million in scholarship awards.  While students and donors are typically recognized at the annual scholarship program and reception in May, this year other steps were taken to recognize our scholars. Recognizing them through yard signs, social media and featuring them in the Hamilton Journal News are a few ways to show students we are proud of their accomplishments.

"Due to Covid-19 pandemic, the Foundation regrettably had to cancel our annual celebration," said John Guidugli, President and CEO.  "While we couldn't be together, we are still committed to providing support for our students as they pursue higher education."

For nearly 70 years the Hamilton Community Foundation and its donors have provided more than $10 million in scholarships.  Thanks to the generous donors who care about education, we are investing in our young people today to benefit the future.
