The Legacy Society

Providing for the future-today

As a member of the Ross Community Foundation's Legacy Society, you can make provisions today that will meet the needs of tomorrow.

To become a member of the Legacy Society, the Foundation requires only a statement of establishment or intent to leave a gift in one's estate plan. No documentation, amount, or type of gift is required. If you choose to do so, members may remain anonymous.

Often, these meaningful gifts go unrecognized because they come at the end of a donor’s life. The Legacy Society is our way of acknowledging your commitment to the future—today.

We invite you to join the Legacy Society in order that the Foundation may recognize and acknowledge your generosity and your gift that will provide significant benefits to our community in the future.

As a member of Legacy Society, you’ll be invited to:

  • Name your charitable fund. We encourage you to use your gift to honor the name of your family or loved ones. You may, of course, choose anonymity instead.
  • Share your personal history. We’d like to preserve your story and photographs for future generations who will receive grants from your fund.
  • Attend special Legacy Society Appreciation Dinner. We’ll introduce you to other generous people who have also provided for the community’s  future in their estate plans.
  • Be recognized in the Ross Community Foundation publications. We’d like to give others the opportunity to follow your example of community stewardship and leadership. (We also respect the wishes of those who prefer to give anonymously.)
